Mary Grace Ibuna, Entrepreneur and Politics, Philippines

On my travels around the Philippines  I came to meet Mary Grace Ibuna whom I am now able to call a close friend whom I greatly admire. We were both on the same tour and by coincidence met again the next day on another tour! After getting to know each other and speaking about loads of random things we came realised how much we shared in common. Me an aspiring entrepreneur and her an extremely experienced entrepreneur. We also share the same mindset on most topics be it nature or political related. She has a lot of wisdom and experience in the entrepreneurial and political field. A woman you can truly learn from. I asked her to share her life and wisdom on this blog, which she has warm heartedly accepted even when she has a very busy life. This goes to show that you dont need to be in the same room to communicate, technology helps us with people from all walks of life, anywhere on this planet.

What is your name? My name is Mary Grace Ibuna

Where do you come from? I am a proud Filipino from San Juan City, NCR, Philippines.

As a little child, do you remember what was your dream job? I had always dreamed of being either a scientist or lawyer.

What is your profession now? I am an entrepreneur and am active in the political field.

Are you happy with your work life? Yes very much so. It is selfless, emotionally and spiritually gratifying, humbling.

If you could relive your life what advise would you give yourself? " If I knew then, what I know now.." nonetheless, have No regrets!

What does happiness mean for you? To me happiness is a state of mind. When you are enveloped with gratitude then you will be happy.

Was there a moment of doubt or darkness in your life? If so how did you manage to overcome this negativity? I experienced the darkness of death and loss. I can not say I am so over it but you need time to heal, accept and move on. Baby steps. Iti s something you cant get over easily. But then again, it really depends how dark is dark. Just think life is short so live it day by day.

If you could grant yourself one wish, what would it be? I would want to experience completeness!

What is the most important thing in life? To me it is God, love, trust, faith, family and helping the lost, the least and the last.

What advise for life can you give me? Chase your dreams. Patience is a virtue. Keep your faith and eros love alive!

Coming back home from work! Style clearly is an important aspect in her life :)

A quick selfie above the Manila city scenery...buildings and pollution?

Manila in dusk, a city where you find the poorest and richest of people, the best food and a great amount of entertainment.

Palawan! Beautiful islands are to be found here and I love how clean the islands are with fines for littering!

I hope she wont kill me for posting this photo! Having a laugh together.

One of the attractions in Palawan is the Ugong Rock with plenty of rock formations as well as the underground river.
